Creamy Mushrooms and Thyme on Toast
Do something different for lunch, make something tasty and delicious and full of goodness with this Creamy Mushrooms and Thyme on toast recipe!
Ingredients: (serves 2)
2 slices Sasko Plus Soy and Linseed White Bread
250g Portabellini/white button Mushrooms
30g butter
½ tsp fresh Thyme
3 Tbsp Cream
15g Grated Parmesan
Pepper
Hummus to serve
Method:
Cut the mushrooms into quarters.
Place a non-stick pan on medium heat and add the butter.
Once the butter has melted, add the mushrooms and thyme.
Fry until the mushrooms are just beginning to brown then add the cream, parmesan and a pinch of black pepper and stir to coat.
Take off the heat.
Toast the Soy and linseed bread and spread each slice with hummus.
Divide the mushrooms between the toasts and serve.
