Caring for an Extroverted Child
An extroverted child is not shy at all, loves talking (non-stop), enjoys making new friends, thrives on social interaction and is usually very energetic. If you're an introvert and your child is an extrovert it can be hard to understand them sometimes and know how to parent them and give them what they need emotionally.
Here are some tips on how to care for an extrovert
Respect their independence
Compliment them in the company of others
Accept and encourage their enthusiasm
Understand when they are busy
Let them dive right in (as long as it's safe of course)
Allow them to explore and talk things out
Be sure to listen to them when they're taking to you.
Offer them options
Make physical and verbal gestures of effection
Thoughtfully suprise them
Encourage them to find balance
Let them shine
